The Junior-Senior Loop

New joiners don't sit in the shadow of the lead engineers. Every new hire is paired with a "Ship Buddy" for their first 90 days. The goal is simple: land a meaningful feature into the main branch by week four. We value the "weird skill" profiles — those who have a background in music production, analog board game design, or competitive gaming.

We interview humans, not algorithms.

Technical Deep-Dive (60m)

No LeetCode. We'll hop on a call and review your existing code or a recent project together. We want to see how you think, not how you memorize sorting algorithms.

The Co-Op Playtest (90m)

We'll play a co-op game together (remotely or in-office). We're testing for communication, sportsmanship, and how you handle a losing streak. It's the ultimate culture test.

How do you manage the cost of experimental tech?

We cap R&D budget at 30% of operating costs. If an experiment doesn't show performance parity with legacy solutions within 3 months, we archive it.

What happens to remote workers in different timezones?

We require a core 4-hour overlap (typically 13:00 to 17:00 UTC+3) for live collaboration. Outside that, it's pure deep work window.

Is there a pathway for purely technical leads?

Yes. We have a parallel career track. You can reach "Principal" level seniority without ever having to manage a team if your technical impact is vast enough.

Are the salary bands really public?

Internal bands are accessible to all employees via the company handbook. We audit against gender and ethnic pay gaps quarterly.
